Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data the mobile game Last Camper (the “Game”) collects, why it is collected, who receives it, and what choices you have. Smyrna Games (“we”, “us”) is the controller of that data.
Your use of the Game is also governed by our Terms of Use.
The short version
- There is no account and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- Your game progress is stored on your device only — we never receive it.
- The Game is free and funded by ads. Advertising and analytics partners receive your device’s advertising identifier and technical device data.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before any of that happens, and you can change your answer at any time from Settings → Privacy Settings.
- We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data.
1. What we collect
We do not ask you to provide any personal information directly. Everything below is collected automatically by the Game or by the third-party software built into it.
| Category | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising identifier | Google Advertising ID (GAID), App Set ID | Serving and measuring ads, limiting repeat ads, attributing installs, fraud prevention |
| Device & technical data | Device model and manufacturer, operating system version, language, country, time zone, screen size, network connection type, app version, install source | Making the Game run correctly, diagnosing crashes, ad delivery |
| Approximate location | Country/region inferred from your IP address | Delivering region-appropriate ads, applying the correct privacy rules to you |
| Gameplay & usage events | Level started/completed, session length, in-game currency spent, features used, ads shown and watched | Understanding what players enjoy, balancing difficulty, measuring ad performance |
| Purchase data | Which product was bought, amount, currency, store transaction identifier | Delivering what you bought, preventing fraud, measuring revenue |
We never receive your payment details. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play; card and billing information goes to the store, not to us.
What we do not collect
The Game does not request or collect precise (GPS) location, your contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera. It does not read your call or SMS history. The permissions it requests are limited to network access, keeping the screen awake, vibration for haptic feedback, and the advertising identifier.
2. No account — where your progress lives
The Game has no sign-in, no user account and no cloud save. Progress, settings and purchase state are written to local storage on your device. We cannot see it, restore it, or transfer it to another device. Uninstalling the Game or clearing its data erases it permanently.
3. Consent, and how to change your mind
On first launch the Game shows a privacy notice with links to this policy and the Terms of Use.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are then shown a consent management (CMP) form operated through Google’s User Messaging Platform, which asks whether advertising and measurement partners may process your data. No advertising or analytics SDK processes personal data for advertising purposes before you answer.
You can change your answer at any time: open Settings → Privacy Settings inside the Game. The same screen also has buttons to reopen this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened while consent was in place.
4. Legal bases (EEA / UK)
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — personalised advertising, advertising measurement, and marketing analytics, where the CMP applies.
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — delivering the Game and the in-app purchases you make.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — keeping the Game working, diagnosing crashes, preventing fraud and abuse, and understanding aggregate usage. We balance these against your rights and use the least identifying data that will do the job.
5. Who receives your data
The Game contains software from the partners below. When their software runs, they receive data as independent controllers or as our processors, under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data for money.

Ads are mediated by AppLovin MAX, which auctions each ad placement among the networks below. Which network wins a given auction — and therefore which one receives your advertising identifier and technical data for that impression — varies.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.
6. Advertising and your choices
Ads may be personalised (selected using data about your interests and app activity) or non-personalised (selected using only coarse context such as your country and the app you are in). Non-personalised ads still involve a request to the ad network containing basic technical data, and still use limited data for frequency capping and fraud prevention.
Your options:
- In the Game — Settings → Privacy Settings, if the consent form applies to you.
- On your device — Android Settings → Privacy → Ads lets you delete or reset your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation entirely. This applies across all apps.
7. International transfers
We are based in Türkiye, and our partners operate globally, including in the United States. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, our partners rely on transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. Details are in each partner’s privacy policy linked above.
8. How long data is kept
We hold no personal data of yours on our own systems — we see only aggregated reports. Retention of the underlying data is governed by each partner’s policy; advertising and analytics identifiers are typically retained for a limited period measured in months and then deleted or aggregated. Data stored on your device stays there until you delete the Game or clear its data.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Residents of California have rights of access, deletion, correction, and to opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Because the Game has no account, we usually cannot identify you from our side. To exercise a right, email us at info@smyrnagames.com and include your advertising ID (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads), since it is the only identifier that lets a request be matched. We will pass the request to the relevant partners, or tell you how to reach them directly. We respond within one month, as required by GDPR.
To delete everything held on your device: uninstall the Game, or clear its data from Android app settings.
10. Children
The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA and UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in those age groups. If you believe a child has provided data through the Game, contact us at info@smyrnagames.com and we will delete what we can and ask our partners to do the same.
11. Security
Data transmitted by the Game travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but the design of the Game limits the risk: there is no account to compromise, no password to steal, and no payment details ever reach us.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the Game changes or the law requires it — for example when an advertising or analytics partner is added or removed. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be signalled in the Game where practicable, and where the change requires it we will ask for your consent again.
